There is no trace of hinge on the back. Does it mean it is a forgery? Are the Chalon often found with watermark inverted? (if it's the case, it explains that there is no cotation in the catalog for it) Do you see fine forgeries of Chalon from time to time? Many questions and ...answers?

inverted watermark on a chalon

hello, i ve found this stamp in a pack of Chalon. It looks like the 65 in SGcatalog (australia) but the watermark is inverted (6 is like a 9).
Have you ever seen that before? Forgery or unreferenced stamp despite known?

i dont really know what is pin-perforated. Look at these stamps, the firts is dull vermillion (n 58SG in austrlia sg catalog), the second seems to be 57 (brick red) , is it pin perforated (91/2 or 10)?
