I just found this card earlier today. It would be from the 1950s/60s period and features a view of the SHOT TOWER at Taroona illustrated by a Roy Cox who was probably the publisher as well vv1109.jpg I have not seen any cards by this illustrator before - do you have any? RHYNDASTON Type 1 with obvious smaller '2' in 'year ....... has anyone noticed this before?

New late date for FALMOUTH Type 5 cds - -5FE69 - previous LRD was -5SE67 so this discovery is quite a' leap forward'.

Correction for last day of operation of the PRESTON post office - currently listed as being 30 OC 1981 however this date was a Saturday and the PO would have closed on a weekday See 'last day cover' below postmarked on Friday 30 OC 1981 which would have been the actual date of closure jj1211.jpg
