Here is a new 'late date' for the KOOMEELA manuscript cancel ......dated 11-8-14. Current LRD is 1-8-14 ...... as this item is from the Avery Collection
it's possible that current date is a typo (i.e. '1' instead of '11' ....not an error you would pick up easily proof reading!)

This last day cover with a clear strike of the LONGLEY LOWER Type 8aT cds dated 22JA93 indicates that the currently listed
date of closure for this office (i.e. 31DE92) is most likely to be incorrect.

The longer you stare at the datestamp you will start to see the back of a '9' and a good part of a '5' ....fortunately, the message on the other side was clearly dated

This early real photo card (July 1904) was mailed from Hobart to the Kingston/Taroona area

Two tram postcards which recently came to hand 1) a view of Liverpool Street from the intersection with Argyle Street similar to another view already posted but a busier scene (published by H.H.
