Campania February 1913
While sorting through some stamps I came across these postmarks from Campania where the usual abbreviation of February appears to have been replaced by 2 or 02. The second stamp might be SP but day-before-month for Campania are uncommon so I included stamp 2 with the definite numeral for month examp...

ONE PENNY overprint October 1912 useage
While sorting through some ONE PENNY overprints looking for late useage dates for another topic on the bulletin board, I found these copies with October 1912 cds dates.
The 18 October date is very early use.

As well as 1 version in colour, the young lad in the foreground has been added/deleted between printings....

This postcard has seen much better days. The building is still there but additions and a highway at the door have changed the view somewhat.

A little additional information on the image of Burnie (an important shipping port) posted earlier.
The same image is shown in Long's book (page 119) and is on a card with the photographer named as E Warde with the image titled Breakwater at Burnie.

These 2 are similar. The Burnie postcard also refers to Dudgeon & Dudgeon, General Printers, Burnie, Tas. This card was used from Burnie in 1906. Burnie 103.jpg And the Distant View of Deloraine has Geo Harley, Stationer, Deloraine printed on the reverse. This postcard was used from Deloraine in 190...

Re: BN75 - Help Wanted
The attached is an image of a BN75 in an album of barred numerals I purchased several months ago. The stamps appear to have been washed (starched) and ironed. I can not see any indication of a pen cancel. The whole package seems just too neat and perfect for an not common item.

While I can not answer any of the 3 questions posed above I can add another postcard from the same printer showing Latrobe. The numbers on the reverse read 155/81437 (does this imply at least 14 postcards in ther series?). When I get my scanner working I will post an image.

Another postcard missing from the earlier list is No 13 - TSS Loongana leaving wharf, Launceston. Not entirely sure how this image qualifies as "Beautiful".

This example of Beach End is pretty obvious from the front and even more so from the reverse. Must have used a fine felt tipped pen.

The group of bike riders could well be at the Mole Creek Hotel. If you get a street view from Google maps you can see the centre door way, windows on either side and the public bar entrance on the right.
