I have not seen any real photo cards before embossed "Sun Studios" (Zeehan)
This card is numbered '31' so it may be from a fairly extensive contemporary series.

I recently came across another real photo card attributed to "Synnott", this time with a first initial "W"

I cannot recall seeing a printed card before attributed to Whitelaw's Studio at Launceston as the publisher. whitelaw's card.jpg This card was printed in Germany and postally used to France. Another example of the DUNDAS JUNCTION Type 1 cds has been discovered (until now, only one strike had been recorded from the first period of use)

This card is endorsed on the back "1929 Floods" ....... my best guess is that the location is on the Mersey or Forth Rivers ..... does any know the exact location?
