Pulled this out of a batch of 2000 documents from a recent shed find somewhere in Tasmania! 1st i have seen. It has the top half stuck down which exposed the bottom half with full gum. I know of one complete newspaper with part black cancel duly trimmed off when found in a bound 1827 edition. The story goes Malcolm found the bound book in a junk shop in Tas for 40...

This came in yesterdays mail, i presume the damage top left which looks like a scuff but under glass appears not to be so, is well known to collectors of this issue?

The Commonwealth 1/- one above the last is rare note Ross and nice to see. This issue was short lived and soon taken out of service for having the incorrect Coat of Arms
