This card is numbered '31' so it may be from a fairly extensive contemporary series.

If you have any other examples, please post them below

Re: UNLISTED TASMANIAN PHOTOGRAPHERS

I recently came across another real photo card attributed to "Synnott", this time with a first initial "W"

Again the card has a view from the New Norfolk area and was published by D.I.C. (Fellowes)

Re: Spurling & Son Cards Produced for Local Publishers: A Survey

I just noted another "sub-publisher" of Spurling cards - HOPE & FIELD, BOOKSELLERS, DEVONPORT

This card originally published by Spurling & Son (Mersey Lighthouse, Devonport...) is numbered "Nr. 293"

CINDERELLA ON COVER TO RONALD SMITH AT FORTH

I have just received this cover for auction bearing a crudely printed 'simulated stamp' from the Smith correspondence pp1098.jpg The vendor also provided a photo copy of another example addressed to a different member of the Smith family ...in this case the 'stamps' are 'cancelled'. Has anyone one s...
