Huon River Letter Card
Can anyone tell me where along the Huon River this picture was taken? Thanks.

I'm not sure but assuming its taken from the W bank looking upstream its either just below the current location of Huonville or some way downstream further South that Franklin, perhaps the Waterloo or Surges Bay area.
I say this because there is a long low-lying island in the middle of the River from below Huonville to well below Franklin and that is not showing in the image. If you add the fact there is a distinct bend in the River than Id say it has to be one of the above.
I have attached a couple of screenshots from Google Maps which how both the area directly below Huonville and also the likely area further south which may help.
