I am a collector of Australian Postage dues. The first monocolours issued in Tasmania are to be found cancelled-to-order, and always with the same date 6 February 1908, always no gum and always (?) in blocks of 4. Are any of your "readers" able to shed more information on the postmark used and is there any significance to this particular date. Here is a link to a Prestige Auction lot featuring all the values so postmarked: http://www.prestigephilately.com/catlot ... m=153&sort.
Many Thanks Allan
