War Savings & Certificate Stamps

Although not a Revenue and not confined to Tasmania i thought i would share my latest addition to my free on line catalogue of Australian Revenues by adding in the War Savings and Certificate stamps of Australia.

As you would expect Tasmania was allotted the least amount of stamps and the hunt is on to find some sort of evidence showing usage in Tasmania. Maybe you have something you can share with us all.

Only 250,000 of the 6d Boulton Defiant War Plane out of the 10 million printed made their way to Tasmania.
