Hi Michael and welcome to the TPS Online Forum.

The 1s. on £1 QV Tablet overprinted REVENUE was used for a period from 1919.
Craig (Handbook of Tasmanian Revenue Stamps) assigned it a catalog number 7.73
and in the Barefoot catalog it's #55. A 5d on £1 surcharge was issued at the same time.

There must have been a large number of the £1 Tablet left over for use as revenues
at the end of 1912 as one can find the REVENUE overprint cancelled as late as the early 1950s.

For more information about Tasmanian revenues, you may like to visit TPS member and BB contributor
