I found this graphic and gained permission to used it via National Archives.
This and several others are listed in my column ‘Revenue Review’ in Stamp News April 2011 edition and thought I would put it up here to hopefully have some readers share their Tasmanian Postal Notes.
This 3/6d note would have cost the buyer 3/7d, the extra 1d [Poundage] being the fee for the service.
