T PERFINS - LATEST RECORDED USE

It is generally believed by specialist collectors that the production of T Perfins ceased in 1975 and the 18c Flower was the last stamp to receive the puncture.

Letter rate stamps would have been used up quite fast whereas "makeup" and higher values would have continued to be used at a slower rate.

Here's my latest recorded date on a letter rate stamp.

Can anyone extend the LRD further?

So much for my theory that letter rate values would have been used up quite rapidly!

I have also seen an example from November 1976

If you have any "dated" T perfins used after 1975, please post an image here.

Whilst not a letter rate stamp, this genuine use of the 4c Stinger perf T is definitely the latest date I've seen.

Namely, 3 DEC 1986
