After a slight reprieve from seeing them on eBay, forged OS perfins are back! eBay seller "niftystamps111" of NSW, Australia has listed four Keyplate stamps of his forged creations.

More OS forgeries on eBay from "bluewonder143" of NSW, Australia. The low-resolution scan makes it hard to be sure on the 1d and 2d pictorials, but I am confident the other values have forged OS punctures. No comments on the T punctures which I have not studied.

The OS forgeries shown in the TPS BB post of 14 Dec 2023 have been relisted on Ebay by another seller associated with the NSW forgery gang. This time by "mightystamps-1" of NSW, Australia. All collectors should be careful buying any OS perfins--Tasmanian or any other colony--from any of the forgers' seller names.

"mightystamps-1" of NSW, Australia is selling on eBay one of the forged OS perfins on a 10/ Keyplate. This same stamp was previously offered on eBay under another one of the forger's seller ids -- "niftystamps111 of NSW, Australia (see TPS BB post of 16 Oct 2023).

Two interesting items are listed on eBay by "collectableswarehouse1" of Morwell, VIC, Australia. I am hard pressed to categorically declare them forgeries, but there are some characteristics that don't appear good (not including a sideways OS on a keyplate!). I would need to take measurements to confirm. Nevertheless, I believe these two items are forgeries. I think the seller listed them as genuine based on the expertising marks on the reverse, but these marks could also be imitations or forgeries. If I am correct, all collectors should also be suspect of the so-called expertising marks seen on the backs of these items--may be an indication of bad material if found on other items. It is also possible that the expertising marks are good indicating the stamps as genuine but were applied to the stamps before the perfins were punched and the creator of the perfins took advantage of the expertising marks.
Jerry Austen's catalog of Tasmanian perfins indicates that the 10/ Keyplate has been reported with OS perfin, but no genuine copies have been seen. Similarly, the 5/ Keyplate has been reported with 5x4 T perfin, but that has not been seen. The example being sold here is 7x7.

An OS forgery on a 2d stereo pictorial has been relisted on eBay by "masterxroshi" of Punchbowl, NSW, Australia. This seller is associated with the NSW forgery gang and all collectors should be careful buying anything from this seller.

More OS forgeries are listed on eBay by the Australian forgery gang. The new group is listed by "Global-Stamps" of SA, Australia. Interesting, eBay shows this seller as "pebbelstamps" of SA, Australia which is another known seller id of the forgery gang. In the group shown below, the three Keyplate stamps were previously offered under another forgery gang seller id "niftystamps111" of NSW, Australia (see 16 October 2023 TPS BB post). The OS on the 4d pictorial is also forged. No comment on the T perfins which I have not studied.

"Pioneer Stamps" of QLD, Australia--one of the Australian forgery gang's eBay seller names--has listed more OS forgeries. All are bad.

OS forgeries that were previously listed on eBay have been relisted by a different seller of the Australian forgery gang. A group of unused pictorials all with forged OS perfins is now listed by "collectablestamps_9" of NSW, Australia. The scan of these items may be seen under TPS BB post of 5 April 2024 and were offered by another member of the forgery gang "Pioneer Stamps" of QLD, Australia. A group of used stamps with forged OS perfins is relisted by the same seller "collectablestamps_9" and the scan of those items may be seen under the post of 15 December 2023. These were previously listed by "bluewonder143" of NSW, Australia, also a member of the forgery gang.

Another group of OS forgeries is listed on eBay. I'm not sure about the 2d without doing measurements, but all the rest have some bad characteristics. The seller is "philacollectables" of Newtown, NSW, Australia.
