Mt Wellington medallion 1894

Can anyone give me any more information on this item, picked up recently on eBay on behalf of Wellington Park Management Trust?
On one side, lady's walking boot, and the words "Mount Wellington Hobart".
Other side, "To our guide Alice Barrett. as a souvenir from Sydney friends April. 5. 94"
Silver plated, 3 cm diameter.
We have no knowledge of any female guides on Mt Wellington.
