Australia 2013
Would it be useful if we had some type of forum on the Australia 2013 World Stamp Exhibition in Melbourne starting Friday May 10th.?

Very good idea. I know we have a number of Tasmanians attending as well as mainland and overseas members. We have at least 4 TPS members exhibiting or displaying as well.
We have a TPS meeting on Sunday 12th May @ 4:15 PM at a meeting room at the Exhibition and will have an agenda out shortly. This is meant to be a more informal meeting particularly to allow our members from diverse parts of the world to meet each other. We will have a presentation by Lars Svensen who is displaying his "Victoria Stamps of Tasmania" exhibit and has kindly agreed to will talk about his display and then take us around the frames( the Exhibits are close to the meeting room). We'll email all members shortly with final details.
We will also have some Postmarks on display and informal agenda items on forthcoming TPS developments which may be of interest to Members. We'll have some sort of refreshments for Members .
Members might want to arrange something like meeting for a drink or a meal somewhere and this forum could be useful to allow people to connect with each other as well.
All thoughts welcome!

Malcolm Groom has just let me know the Audio tour App for smartphones is now available.
This provides a guided tour audio tour of the Exhibition, and explanation of the exhibition categories, maps and other useful info.
You might note a bit of a plug for Tasmania amongst the various images.
The current version is for iphone and an android version is on the way within a few days.
