New Member introduction Laurent Simoni

#1 Post by songenaz » Fri Jul 25, 2014 7:01 am

Hello everybody.
My name is Laurent Simoni. I am a french philatelist for more than 35 years. I'm 43 at the moment and I work as a High mountain guide in the french Alps, close to Chamonix
Many thanks to Mr Peter Allan who suggest to connect this Web site.
I Collect french stamps for so many years, I hope I could be helpfull for people interested by french philately.
Also, I started to understand Tasmanian Philately with "easy to find" Imperforate Chalons Heads (4 pence) and also Tasmanian postmarks at this period.
Because it's really new for me, because informations (books, articles) is not so easy to find ans because also English language is not natural for me, It will be a big challenge.
That's why I will have a lot of questions.
I would be really happy to improve my philately knowledge
Many thanks for your help and your patience.
Best regards
Laurent
