My major collecting interest has for a long while been Australian States, but I have lately been introduced to Tasmanian Postmark collecting. This is an ideal field for someone who is obsessive- compulsive, pedantic and prepared to sit for hours with a magnifier, scanning machine and access to lists of the above material. To be frank, I am having a ball and thank Ross Ewington for his introduction to this field. At present I visit Tasmania from Queensland every 2 years (wooden boat show) and will have to work with my computer in the interim, but you never know, a move might be in the wind. I have also enjoyed the monthly TPS meetings while I have been here and like the challenge of bidding against my brother.
