there are a couple of general books of Australian registration labels that were published in the 1950s or thereabouts.... one was
by Turley and the other author I cannot recall. I am presently moving office and most of my library is packed in boxes so I
cannot locate the texts easily.
I believe that an extensive study of Australian registration labels by Kevin Burt is due for publication later this year.
There are quite a number of collectors on the TPS BB who have some knowledge of Tasmanian labels so if you have a few specific
questions, don't hesitate to try us out!

Kevin Burt's book was published in 2018. The short title is:
"Post Office Registration Labels."
Tasmania is covered in detail on pages 33 to 39. There are a
few updates in very recent issues of Philately from Australia.
