Photographs and Postcards By Albert Sargeant

I am searching for photographs and postcards taken by my Great Great Grandfather Albert Sergeant. I don't need to collect them as such, I am primarily interested in the images rather than the actual prints as I am planning a project to RePhotograph some of the scenes to create interesting then and now comparisons of the places.

I have many photographs taken around Hobart and Port Arthur as well as some from the Derwent Valley and a few from near Strahan and the West Coast. These are from family albums that are now held at TMAG. I have recently come across a few images from around Launceston where Albert worked in the later part of his life.

Ideally I would love to uncover as many photographs as possible because I know that for various reasons, reshooting some of the images will not work out as I would like. I think having the widest possible selection of possibilities will give me a better options and more chance of having a useful body of work to create an exhibition of the results.
