GORMANSTON POST OFFICE

This is a photo of the Gormanston Post Office which I took in November 1980. Gormanston PO closed on the 30/4/1979. As can be seen in the photo, the PO had been vandalised and was in a very poor state. I think a months later the building was pulled down. I remember going inside and finding piles of PO documents all over the floor. Many were rain damaged but I did manage to save some.
