SPECIMEN in blue and annotated "Plate Sent Ap. 8. 1870" in red ink; 3 d. red-brown, 8 d. dull purple-brown, 9 d. dull mauve and 5 s. purple all optd. CANCELLED in black or red and sent between "Dec 10. 1870" and "Ap. 17. 71", together with the 1891 File copies for the 1 d. rose (endorsed 'Geranium') optd.
