2d Litho Offset Variety
I recently came across what I believe is an offset variety on a 2d lithograph with crown over A watermark. This is the first example that I have seen of this type variety. What's even more interesting is that the stamp shows a double impression of the offset and both impressions are inverted. The second impression shows up best along the right side of the stamp in a slightly lighter shade. The front of the stamp is also attached and can be seen through the back of the first scan. Has anyone seen other examples of offset varieties on the pictorials??
