Does anyone have a similar "Received Launceston in Damaged Condition. Signature " ? This parcel was posted from Victoria on 29/3/85 to Tioxide Burnie.
Is the marking "rated"?

I am fairly certain that I have seen the same informative handstamp on damaged mail from this period.

No "rating system" is in use currently for these markings but from my experience, they are all scarce
to very rare.

There are quite a number of RECEIVED ______ IN DAMAGED CONDITION handstamps that have been (and are
being) used in Tasmania. If you have any images, please post them in this thread ...... I'll see what I can
find too.
