POSTAGE PAID BURNIE
I am trying to identify the attached postmark. The dateline reads "13M(?L or E) (obliterated) (obscured)
Is there enough here to identify ?
Certainly the 4R and 5R postmarks listed by Hardinge are not the same as R4 and R5 and types 5s and 7b do not seem to fit either.

2bR is correct. Interesting shows the wring amount under "1d", should be "5d".

Wynyard R6 postmarks.
Found these recently. The blue postmark appears to be unlisted in Hardinge, but sadly the full date is not
readable. However it proves that the blue ink version does exist. Has anyone else seen this?

Avery & Hardinge list the closing date of the REDPA post office as being August 30th, 1987 however this date was a Sunday and a handful of
covers were produced with 28AU87 dates (a Friday)

Devonport West Type 8 Any ideas here? Hardinge list this postmark as type 8T having had the TIME removed from it.
This example has had the entire dateline removed. Has anyone else seen this type before??

This datestamp is a rubber (neoprene) type and not a Type 8 steel cds ...... another example of this
datestamp without a dateline is definitely worth pursuing though!

This is a weird one ... a Type 3 cds from LAUNCESTON with an extra (outer) frame.

Sorell R8 "Paid" postmark
I note that in the revised listing an R8T "Paid" postmark is listed.
The present postmark, R8 "Paid" is not listed. and is quite a bit smaller than the R8T version,
33mm against 37mm. I would be grateful for any feedback.

Spirit of Tasmania postmarker. 19 Apr 1994
Is this genuine postal usage or is it merely a souvenir issue.
The fact that it is attached to a preprinted "postage paid" business envelope addressed to Teachers & Police Credit Union
suggests that it might have been, but possibly incorrect usage.
The envelope is also marked with a rubber stamped Paquebot impression

George Town Type 5s(i). Characteristic hand engraved letters unlike the machine engraved latter types.

Just a few queries in correctly identifying these Latrobe CDS
The first being the type 7T with small dateline restored
The second being the type 7(l)T with large dateline both of these shown as to allow comparison to the following
The third and fourth types are consecutive days and also appear to me to be 7(l)t but surpass the LRD by 2 years, could this be a new usage period for this cancel

The second question in regards to Latrobe CDS is for the below scan. Is it a type 7(m)T or is the large 2 for the first letter of the day just a once of mistake. It falls within the type 7T (small dateline restored) timeline but clearly the "2" is larger in the first letter of the day. Many thanks with any thoughts

DELORAINE Type 4 'PAID' with rate

This canceller is currently classified as being Type 4R but there appears to be a stop after TAS. making it a Type 4aR

Any comments?

Not a post office marking per see. The receipt stamp for the Postal Clerks Union, sometimes seen on corro to and from them.

All items posted came in one lot I picked up,I have a few other items including crown seals which appear to be on some sort of postal check list form to put up yet,I will post the portion of form that I have as I would like clarification on what,where and when it was used.

Latrobe is certainly a Type 7(m)T. When it's the first letter of the day that's different this can be deceptive as this is not shown for the first nine days of each month.

Daryl, this Queenstown is known but this is the early date by 18 months or so.

Thanks for reply John as always, did you have any thoughts on the Latrobe strikes 7T and 7(l)T posted before the 7mT. Two consecutive days with large dateline within the small dateline restored period from the information I have at hand.
