This A1 quality impression of the RRRRR rated PAID AT NEW NORFOLK Type 5R (without rate)
is dated 16JA69 ...

The current listing of PAID datestamps provides 16JA59 as the LRD and 29SE67 as the ERD for the Type 5(s), i.e. Type 5R
but with a small character dateline.
As the "Housing Department Hoard" this cover comes from only contained mail from the 1966/72 period, one can discount
the possibility of there being a date error ('69' instead of '59').
Therefore, is the ERD for the Type 5(s) an error in the listing or is there another explanation?

Re: PAID at NEW NORFOLK - Date Line Discrepancy 1969?
Missed a line from my listing here. Correct sequence is Type 5R, to then Type 5(no rate), to Type 5(s). Will look up late and early dates.

Thanks John ... is the rarity rating the same for Type 5 (no rate) as for Type 5R i.e. RRRRR?
