TASMANIAN CHURCH INTERIORS & EXTERIORS

#1 Post by Ross Ewington » Sat Mar 19, 2016 4:43 pm

Over the years since the TPS BB began there have been many posts re postcard views of churches around the state so I thought that it would be a good idea to start a topic devoted to Tasmanian church interiors and exteriors. Additions are welcome.

Here's my first contribution - an interior view of St Mark's Church of England at Lovett (Cygnet) - the card was postlly used in 1907.

To see what they have done to the interior during the following 109 years check this out ..... :o

1907 - postally used real photo card by 'Zodiac' with a view of the Methodist Church (and hall) at New Town - not often a subject of cards from the period.
