For the record, the following colour cards printed by F.W. Niven (Melbourne) were sold in the
Launceston Philatelic Society "Launpex 2009" postal auction:

"Views of Scottsdale. A Leading North Eastern Town Tas."

This advertising card by Niven has been recorded but I have not seen an example before.

"St Clair Hazeldine · Hairdresser & Tobacconist · Corner of George & Brisbane St Launceston Tas."

The card was finely used at Launceston during 6/1908

Thanks Patrick ...do you have a copy of Mike's book on the Niven cards? If you don't
you can contact him ('Mike') via the 'Members' link to the upper right corner of this page (if you
are logged in) and I am certain he will be happy to organise supply.

You never know, you may have an 'unrecorded by Simco' card there! :)

P.S. if we can place 'requests' for images, I'd like to see 'Clarke's Aviary, Invermay, Launceston'
and 'Forbes Tramway Hotel, Hobart' but, unrealistically, I'd love to see them all!
