As a new member and also beginner philatelist on Tasmanian stamps and postal History,
I am looking for information about postal rate at the time of use of Chalons heads (1855-1869)

Here is a table of Postal rates from 1853 - 1868. There were two important Postal Acts in 1869 and 1870 and rates became more complicated as a result, so this table needs more work which I will do when I have some time .
The table is somewhat simplified but contains all the common rates. For more details, refer to the Postal Acts , Regulations and Guides found in A. E. Orchard "Tasmanian Postal Acts and Regulations". Magpie Press, or go direct to the Acts themselves.
If anyone spots any errors please let me know.
