The collecting of Tasmanian Frank Stamps was very popular a couple of decades ago but all seems
"very quiet" of late. Maybe this is a good time to try an rekindle some interest in this interesting
area of postal history.
Here's an image of the INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION TASMANIA frank stamp used on a wrapper
to New Norfolk with Hobart duplex cancel dated JE 30 92. This date of use is the earliest recorded in
Part II of the "Green Books". Can anyone beat this date?
