Glazier's Bay - no postmaster in 1924

Below is an extract from The Mercury 5 April 1924 p.13.

It is interesting to note that the postmaster at Glazier's Bay had resigned and no-one had yet been appointed to the position.

It would be interesting to search the Commonwealth Govt Gazette to find the exact dates of resignation and then appointment of the PM to determine what the exact gap is.

Has a "gap" in datestamp use in 1924 been reported?

Reason: subject need a date / a little of the text needed a "polish"

Earliest strike known is 1923. I have not seen another from this era. Early cancels very rare indeed prior to the mid 1930's
