Re: 1899 cancels on Pictorials
1899 dates after December 25th on Hobart and Launceston postmarks can be found with a little effort. Postmarks pre-dating December 25th are much scarcer in my experience.
All 1899 dated postmarks from post offices other than Hobart and Launceston are very scarce to extremely rare.

REAL PHOTO CARDS by C.STANDALOFT
I have not seen any cards by C. Standaloft before. The card below is a view of "CHISWICK", a home at Ross in the Midlands bb1976.jpg A quick search in "Trove" found a couple of mentions of the name associated with events in the Ross area. Another recent "find"
TEEPOOKANA Type 1 cds on a 1d Pictorial dated 27 JA 02
This is interesting as the PO re-opened (after a 2+ years closure) on 1 FE 02
I don't recall seeing another example on a 1d Pictorial ..... does anyone have the cds on this stamp in their collection?

Re: A potentially controversial 5x3 perfin on 1/2 tablet !
Thanks for posting this Jerry In my opinion, the perfin is a fake 1) due to the method the T perfin was produced, it would be highly unlikely for both "bars" of the T to be punctured at an angle 2) a 3 hole puncture as part of a T perfin has never been seen to the best of my knowledge ... the varyin...

A new late date for the LAUNCESTON Type 4 cds - 26SE56 - this is about 11 months later than the published LRD
If you have some FDCs cancelled at Launceston, it may be worthwhile to check out any Type 4 dates as some later dates may turn up!

LYETTA - Type 2b
Note a 'quad' has been used as second number in year for reasons unknown. This example was from John Avery's collection
so it's surprising that the dateline variation hasn't been recorded previously
