Ross,
Do these underprints disappear from used stamps with soaking?
I've never noticed such a marking, but would have lots of stamps to check for it.

Re: 4d Russell Falls used at Russell - the ultimate use?
Great stamp. I would count the Dilston Falls used in Dilston in the category and an even better item. I believe I saw one in a lot I couldn't afford some months back - wish I had it though. The story of "Dilston Falls' I've read makes it even more interesting. I expect to eventually learn of the oth...

Re: 2d Blue Sideface UNLISTED
No need to ruin more stamps in the sun, yellows and reds will fade or disappear in most cases. I understand there are publishings of chemical transformations that can be accomplished. In general, I hope the fewest number of casualties happen, and that means fewer freaks for the unknowing to query. I...

Re: OS PERFINS on 6d PICTORIALS SIDEWAYS to DESIGN - HOW COM
I wanted to add a little summary of my perfins as I'm trying to learn more about them: I have 4 OS sideways 1p, seemingly all used in 1906, 29 other 1p and one normal 6p. (None missing pins.) I have 7 A, of three sizes, one is a 2 1/2p. I have 86 T perfins, of various numbers of dots and alignments,...

Re: McK / S / McK New Discovery
I just found a 2p dated 1904 with what looks to be 68 pins.
I am just starting to understand perfins, I have a few dozen with T, OS & A (lg and sm holes.)
Some of the T are very poorly aligned, on one the top is completely to the side of the vertical.
How scarce are McK perfins to begin with?

Introducing Steve Radell
Hello from Los Angeles California, USA. I have been collecting worldwide stamps and enjoying them since 1976. I narrowed which countries by 1980. I have always collected Australia and the states, but didn't have too many of the states until really starting to acquire material in 1998. I started buil...
