Bill
David McNamee mentioned a label recorded on a Tatts cover. Maybe he could share the date.

Re: Short note on some early Beer Duty listings
Bill Yet another example of 'do your own research' and not simply parrot others. This 8/3d on 12/- on 9/- listed in my free online catalogue missing by others. An incredibly rare stamp with just the one recorded. ozrevenues.com listing: 1903: 1/3d[manuscript]on1/8don1/3d-$250.00 1/3don1/8don1/3d-$60...

Bill
A good example of 'do your own research'. When these people parrot incorrect information judges at exhibitions can penalise an exhibitor for not say showing this 1 wmk. ozrevenues.com has never listed this wmk.

Re: A short note on railway stamp listings
Bill: Thus telling us all to not rely on and continue to parrot the written works of previous students. Do your own research , how this early 1886 date was missed by so may early eminent philatelists is totally beyond me. Had I continued to be lazy and just parrot previous listings in my free on lin...

First 'CANCELLED / FINGAL' i have been able to buy.
These small stations appear to be getting quite hard to find with little turning up in auction.
