Now you don't often see one of these, especially used and in nice condition!

The envelope measures 100x64mm (i.e. as per H&G C5)
Do any TPS BB members have images of other used examples that they can post here?
Also, there must have been a need for such a small registered letter envelope to be produced
for sale to the public .... any ideas?

Re: 1910 - Tiny Registered Letter Envelope Used at Bothwell
For the Small Reg Env (100mm x 64mm): I have recorded 5 unused, 3 CTO, and 7 used:
10 APR 1905 Holwell to Launceston (ERD)
16 JUL 1906 Richmond to Hobart
27 JAN 1907 Launceston to London
30 JUL 1907 Ellendale to Hobart
29 JAN 1909 Hobart to Deal, UK with Hobart Reg Label No. 1193 (ERD for Hobart Experimental Label)
5 APR 1910 Bothwell to Hobart (Ross illustrated this example)
27 APR 1912 Hobart to Germany overfranked with 3d Pictorial (philatelic mail)
I have scans of 3 of them. My guess is that they were used to post coins to purchase duty stamps for the most part.

This topic has been 'quiet' for a long time.
Just noted that an image of a mint example of this envelope has not been posted here (until now)
