This card of T perfins was offered for sale by auction by Status International as part of a larger lot - to date and fortunately, it has not found a buyer.

The 1d QV Sideface was NEVER perforated OS (or T for that matter) ..... stocks were long exhausted by 1904 when the OS perfin was first applied on Tasmanian stamps ..... in fact, the first printing of the 1d Pictorial had also been long exhausted with reprinting commencing in 1902!

If you return to the head of this thread you will find a number of forged perfins offered by eBay seller 'stamp_fishing' ...this person is the same
seller (who has morphed through an extensive list of seller names over the last few years).

A forged OS perfin on a 3d pictorial has been posted on ebay. The forger is using the seller name "el73_28" with a listed location of NSW, Australia. The seller name is new, but the seller is the same forger that has listed forged material under many other seller names.

The forged OS perfin shown in the post of 28 March 2021 has been relisted on ebay. The forger listed it originally under the seller name "el73_28" but this time has listed it under another of the forger's seller names of "northgate14" of Riverwood, Australia.

Another OS forgery has been posted to ebay. This time, the item is a forgery of a Commonwealth type OS that was never used on Tasmanian stamps. The stamp is listed by "one-stop-stamp-shop" from Sydney. I sent the seller an email telling them the OS perfin was a forgery. (Note: The item is being offered with an Adams perfin, but I have only posted the forgery.)

A sad fate to the 2d mauve electro pair with forged OS punctures (see 30 Aug 2022 post). The forger separated the pair and has posted the right-side stamp on ebay under another seller id "oceanbluestamps" with a location of NSW, Australia. I guess that means the pair did not really receive 12 legitimate bids and sell for AU$41.00 as indicated on ebay.

The following OS forgery is for sale on ebay again (see posts of 30 Aug 2022 and 11 Sept 2022). This time the seller id is "g-stephensstamps" with a location of NSW, Australia. I haven't seen this seller id associated with the NSW forger previously, but it could be another new one because we know he keeps changing his seller id's to help evade detection. Recommend everyone be careful buying anything from this seller id.

This is a never-ending saga of fakes and forgeries!

Thanks to Jerry, Ross and many others for exposing these dangerously misleading wares.

Collectors should make every effort to only buy these perfins from reliable sources.

Similar remarks apply to the problem of fake Specimens. (See relevant section of BB.)

The NSW forger has posted more perfins for sale on ebay. The forger is using their seller id "g-stephensstamps" with a location of NSW, Australia. The 3d and 5d pictorials are definite forgeries. Both of these creations were previously offered by the forger under another one of their different seller id's "globbaladmin". The 2d may be a forgery given the seller, but to be sure I would need to examine it. (I have not studied the A (Adams) and T (Tasmania) perfins so I cannot comment on their status.)

More forged OS punctures on pictorials from the NSW forger. All the stamps with OS are forgeries (no comment on the T punctures which I have not studied). This time the forger is using a new ebay seller id "collectable stamps" with a location of NSW, Australia. All collectors should BE CAREFUL BUYING ANYTHING from this new seller id. I noticed that the 1d pictorial with forged OS was previously offered by the forger under a different seller id "oceanbluestamps" (see 19 Sep 2022 post).
