I have just received this cover for auction bearing a crudely printed 'simulated stamp' from the Smith correspondence

The vendor also provided a photo copy of another example addressed to a different member of the Smith family ...in this case
the 'stamps' are 'cancelled'.

Has anyone one seen any other examples or know who produced them?

I don't know anything about these cinderellas, but it appears from the handwriting that they were produced by the same person. The hand writing appears identical.

I also think this was produced by the same person. The handwriting really looks identical to me. You should go check out some stamps guide on https://wheretobuystamps.online/old-stamps-value/, maybe you can get some useful tips there.
