I have had this red R.6 registration label from TULLAH in my "top drawer" for many years pending further investigation.

Does anyone know what the letters "S.O." stood for .... "Second Office", "Special Office", etc ?!?!?
The only background I can provide if that this type of red label was in use during the late 1920s and early 1930s and the Tullah
post office burnt down in 1926 and again in 1933.
Does anyone have any information, "best guesses", other examples, etc, etc??
