This is the front page of an school exercise book showing Amundsen's ship the "Fram". Made for Propsting & Morris, 96 Liverpool st Hobart.
Amundsen arrived in the Derwent Estuary about the 6th March 1912, to tell the world that he had conquered the South Pole and had beaten Captain Scott.
This picture was taken by William Willianson, Hobart Photographer, 127 Goulburn St Hobart. A signed real photo postcard confirms that Willianson took the photograph.
