IMPORTANT NOTE
When our Bulletin Board was created, it was common practice to use third party hosting for images. In particular, Photobucket was commonly used to store web images. As Photobucket are now charging for the use of their image hosting service, we ask that all images are directly loaded onto our site rather than using a link from Photobucket or other web image service. This is easier and quicker, will save you any fees and guarantees the images will remain on our Board where they will be backed up and stored at no cost to members, for the benefit of collectors.
Instructions are provided in the Post below.
For any assistance of queries please contact Admin by PM or email .
If you already have images on this Board using the Photobucket service we strongly recommend that you edit your post and up-load images direct.

A closer look at the options for attaching files to posts to the BB indicates there is a quicker method than using the URL of an image from somewhere on the web although with one restriction.
I've been able adjust the options for attaching files to a generous level which makes this method fairly practical and much quicker.

NOTE: As at April 2015, the max size that will display on our board is 858 pixels wide.Images wider that this will be automatically reduced in size to 858 pix wide. This is now built into our Board as part of the recent change to better display on small devices such as phone. Apologies for any inconvenience. Sorry, but its out of our hands. If you need to display a larger image please contact Admin or Ross Ewington and we will provide a manual option for you.

Adding an attachment to a post allows you to up-load an image direct from your PC without the need to get it on a web page first.
The following is a screenshot showing where to find the attachment buttons and how to use them. You will see the issue with the size of the window in which the image appears

I have set the file size to unlimited but please try to use the smallest file size possible. In any case, 858 pix wide is the built-in limit.
Up to 10 images maye be added to a message using this method, and a similar number for a Private message. The max dimensions that will work are 858 pixels wide by any pixels high
