New Tasmanian Philatelic Publication: « Post Office and Datestamp Compendium »
https://tasstampbooks.com
You might be aware the Tasmanian Philatelic Society published John Hardinge’s major work on Tasmanian post offices and date stamps in 2018. This book listed every Post Office, date stamp and rarity ratings known for Tasmania from 1823 to 2000 and associated postal history.

We rapidly sold out of the limited edition book, « The Post Offices and Their Datestamps ».

Since then, we have received numerous requests for a reprint of the book, or at least the date stamp listings, notably the rarity ratings.
While we are not able to reprint the original book, we have decided to publish a similar book with just the datestamp listings and chapter on postmark types.
Some people may be interested in purchasing a copy or downloading up-dates for the original book.

The new « Tasmanian Postal History: Post Office and Datestamp Compendium » is a 230 page, spiral-bound book printed on high-quality paper at $90 per copy plus P&P.
Some 7 pages of updated and new information have been incorporated, including new discoveries and two new date stamp types.
Full details can be found on our Publications website https://tasstampbooks.com
