Re: Forgeries and Facsimiles seen on Online Auction Sites, etc
A 1d Chalon that was fiscally used and with a forged South Australian barred numeral 37 cancel is listed on eBay by seller "hedgepig2000" of Cambridge, UK. You can see the fiscal pen marks below the forged cancel. The forged cancel is similar a genuine SA barred numeral 37 but there are a few items not right with the numerals. I've posted the item here because it is a good example of the forged cancel.

More forgeries from the Australian forgery gang. A relisted CA monogram forgery on a 2.5d recess-printed pictorial on eBay by "collectablestamps_9" of NSW, Australia. This item was previously offered last year by another member of the gang "niftystamps111" of NSW, Australia. (See TPS BB post of 11 October 2023.) In addition, "classic-stamps" of QLD, Australia has listed on eBay more examples of the forged REPRINT Chalon stamps. More examples of these forgeries can be found in multiple TPS BB posts over the past year by many different members of the forgery gang.

Forgery gang member "moonman143" of NSW, Australia has relisted on eBay another 1d Courier forgery. This is the same dud that the forger tried to sell earlier this year (see TPS BB post of 2 March 2024).

Forgery gang member "classic-stamps" has listed on eBay another 1d Courier forgery. This time the forger has listed their location as NSW, Australia, rather than the last time they listed their duds as QLD, Australia.

Re: Forgeries and Facsimiles seen on Online Auction Sites, etc
"YHStamps2020" of London, UK has listed more forgeries on eBay. This is the first time I have seen forged Couriers and perforated Chalon forgeries from this seller. The Courier forgeries appear very similar to the NSW forgery gang's material, and the Chalon forgeries appear very similar to the forgeries coming out of Taiwan. I have said this before, but if you want genuine stamps do not buy anything from this seller. They only sell forgeries (what they call reproductions).

Re: Forgeries and Facsimiles seen on Online Auction Sites, etc
Forgery gang member "moonman143" of NSW, Australia continued to be active over the past few months with forged Couriers. The current forgery listed on eBay is shown below and is being hawked as unused. Another item that caught my attention was a forged cancel on a 1d Chalon. This item was in a group of Chalons listed by "raamino" of Melbourne, Australia. The forged cancel was applied atop a fiscally used stamp. Portions of the fiscal pen marks are still visible. The item is a good example of this forgery and is shown below for educational purposes.

Re: Forgeries and Facsimiles seen on Online Auction Sites, etc
Forgery gang member "collectablestamps_9" of NSW, Australia continues to post forgeries of the 4d Courier. This time a forged pair on piece with forged BN60 marks. An interesting item on this dud is the fake expertizing mark on the back. Appears to be a script of BP in a circle. Good to recognize this mark and be careful if you see it again.

Re: Forgeries and Facsimiles seen on Online Auction Sites, etc
Another group of tablet forgeries are offered on eBay by "NUTBROOK STAMPS" of Ilkeston, UK. This seller is also listed on eBay as "mswitho". The seller states these are reprints, unwatermarked, and mint no gum. They appear to be the same forgeries produced in Taiwan and sold as reproductions (see TPS BB post of 22 Feb 2024). Those forgeries were sold with REPLICA on the back, but these do not have that (possibly why the forgeries offered by "NUTBROOK STAMP"S and "mswitho" are without gum). The forgeries also look aged. Not clean and crisp as the Taiwan forgeries.

Re: Forgeries and Facsimiles seen on Online Auction Sites, etc
The same group of tablet forgeries (with the exact same scans) shown in the TPS BB post of 14 Jan 2025 are now being offered on eBay by "j.j.raison" of Kingscliff, NSW, Australia and in a second separate eBay listing by "diggercollectormike" of Kingscliff, NSW, Australia. These must be the same seller but with different seller ids. Seller "j.j.raison" has a past history of selling forgeries. Buyers beware!
