1d Sheet with New(?) Selvedge Marking

Earlier this year I purchased a full sheet of the 1d recess with plate number 3. After examining the sheet I found a marking in the selvedge above stamp position 10 that I have not seen previously. The marking is not complete but is similar to three points of a star. Has anyone seen this marking before? Does anyone know what the full marking looks like? Thanks, Jerry
