Although some telegraph office datestamps saw 'postal use' most did not therefore I thought it would be
interesting to commece a topic to record these non-postal datestamps used by the PMG's Dept 'for the record'.
Here is my first contribution from 1932
CHIEF TELEGRAPH OFFICE · HOBART · 1932 MARCH 15 PM 3 58 - measures 47x27mm
If you have examples of similar datestamps (i.e. issued specifically for use in a telegraph office) please post them here

Re: TELEGRAPH OFFICE DATESTAMPS - RECORD YOURS HERE
This is a 'discovery' - CHIEF TELEGRAPH OFFICE HOBART with a small dateline used about 12 years later than the current LRD for the Type 2b(iii)
This datestamp will be listed as Type 2b(s)(iii) and automatically qualifies for a RRRRR rating!

Re: TELEGRAPH OFFICE DATESTAMPS - RECORD YOURS HERE
Just made another 'discovery' and from a different 'source' from the new datestamp type listed above.
This time it's CHIEF TELEGRAPH OFFICE HOBART Type 5 (1963 LRD !!) with a small dateline making it Type 5(s)
The examples found were all on the sender's copy of PHONOGRAMS - early date 14OC74 · late date 12JY76
