1915 - real photo “Greetings” type card by an unidentified photographer with composite views of Launceston
area and a central map of Tasmania into which a photo of the sender of the card (Gracie) has been inserted
….. a premonition of Photoshop™ from 1915!

Has anyone seen one of these or something similar before?

Re: REAL PHOTO 'GREETINGS' VIEW CARD(S) WITH INSERTED PORTRAIT
Just after posting the item above, I saw this similar real photo card
on eBay ..... unfortunately, I wasn't "on the money" and the card sold for AU$68.

It's a slightly cruder production but still most attractive and interesting. The man
in the portrait appears to be in military uniform so we can probably assign it a c.1915 date.
If the purchaser of this card is a member of this online forum, perhaps they could post
an image of the back of the card?
