Who was the 'QUEEN of the DARDANELLES' ??

I have seen one other example of this portrait card of the
'Queen of the Dardanelles' with an indecipherable signature.

The Kodak Austral stamp box dates it as early as 1915 and one would assume
that the card is from the WWI era.

There is also a small "Queen of the Dardanelles" colour poster stamp, the image
of which I must have a little search.

I know the character was from Hobart ..... can anyone shed some light?
