Double and other multiple cards

I have recently acquired a card showing Wynyard and Inglis River, NWC. It is a Spurling card, but I can't read the number as half of it has been cut off.

However, I am more than intrigued by the back, which has the Tasmania Coat of Arms to the left and address lines covering all of the back. Is this one half of a double card?

The full double Wynyard card, plus a double South Spreyton card to wet the appetite . Double cards can considered to be very rare.

It's surprising that you can go for years without seeing a particular printed card and then 2½ examples of them
turn up in the space of a couple of weeks!

This morning I took delivery of an unused and unfolded example of the 'Wynyard and Inglis River..." card
which, except for a few minor blemishes, is in excellent condition.

It is interesting to note that the printer's reference or index number (in the stamp box) '23315' is the same as on Mike's example whereas the
number on Patrick's card is '18300' suggesting that there may have been at least two printings of this card. It is also interesting that Spurling's card number
on this two panel view is the same as for a single panel card, in this case No.580 but on the South Spreyton view there are two numbers i.e. No.685/686
or suchlike (I can't read the numbers exactly from the BB image)

I have found another Spurling double card. Card numbers 638 & 639. Ref no. 23313. I am sure that others exist.

thanks Mike ..... I can recall seeing the left panel used as a single card before...... but only once.

More points of interest:
1) the two view reference numbers on the Trevallyn card are separated by a ',' rather than a '/' as per the 'South Spreyton
view;
2) the cards have 'Printed in Germany' or '(Printed in Germany)' indicating that there were from different printings
or all the views weren't printed in the same 'batch'. I assume the 'Printed in Germany' on the back of the
used Wynyard view has been scratched out by some god-fearing (judging by the message) WWI era patriot!
