This card was sent by E Busby of the Valentine Publishing Co Ltd Launceston to a Mr G Rowntree 88 Elizaberth St Hobart, advising of the new 1930 samples (postcards?)
What business did Mr G Rowntree operate?

As indicated by this snippet from The Mercury dated August 1st 1933, Mr. G. Rowntree was a bookseller.

While having 'a Trove' I also found this mention of a Mr. E de Busby in The Examiner.

Thanks Ross for the interesting information.

A 2 bob robbery ! How times have changed.

Mr Busby sounds like an interesting person. I wonder what new Tasmanian postcard views were published.

Glad the read that Mr Busby thinks Tasmanian scenery is "As good as England"! High praise indeed.
