Can anyone confirm that these real photo postcards are off the Waddamana HEC power development?
I would date these cards c1920.
The 5 photos are by little known photographer (to me) R.Parker. Long, lists on page 89 a R Lewis Parker 1848 to 1948, a lawyer and amateur photographer. Is this the same person?
The 1928 Tas PO Directory lists a R Parker, Electricial Engineer, Scottsdale. Could Parker have of been a HEC employee??
Each card has hand stamped on the back in purple ink " R. Parker, Photographer " All 5 cards are unused.

Re: WADDAMANA POWER STATION DEVELOPMENT ??
Yes, definitely Waddamana in the 1920s. I particularly like the first photo with the wooden penstocks and dark satanic surge tower!
I'll see what can find on Parker and report back.
Can you please provide an image of the back of one of the cards to 'record' the photographer's handstamp and and so we can check out type of photographic postcard stock used?

I have just found this real photo card by Spurling entitled "Canal Drops, Waddamana Tas.", the view taken
from nearly the same spot as the one above by Parker http://tps.org.au/bb/download/file.php?id=2282
