I have a small range (six at present) of Valentine's cards with two round pictures in sepia on them. The views are relatively run of the mill, such as Gowernmnet House, Elizabeth Street, Tesselated Pavement.
However, I am intrigued by one that I bought in the last TSA Online sale, as it has additional floral decoration (presumably manually) applied. The sender was 'Nan Hurst' of Tedworth, Colebrook. It is shown below with a normal card for comparison.
Has anyone else got a card with such embellishment? Any idea of where it might have been applied? Was it the sender or a store in Colebrook or elsewhere? Answers on a postcard please.....
